In our daily work as we deal with bicycle safety, technology and user manuals we come across lots of safety risks. The most frequent ones are published in articles of the leading German special-interest magazines TOUR – Europas Rennrad-Magazin Nr. 1, BIKE – Das Mountainbike Magazin Europas Nr. 1 and E-Bike – Das Pedelec-Magazin to make this information important for the sector accessible to a wider public.
For many years now the Eurobike Show Daily accompanying the annual international Eurobike Show has given us the opportunity to publish our perspective on major developments in the cycle industry in full-page articles.
We also speak regularly in independent lectures about all topics relating to bicycle technology and bicycle market. In addition, we are regularly cited by further special-interest magazines or trade journals as well as more and more by radio and television and in their media reports, which shows us that we are completely right with our information. The section NEWS informs you about the latest news from our specialist fields. The reports and publications of this section are listed chronologically or according to topics of interest.

With intelligent use of process waste heat, the exclusive reuse of used packaging material, a building insulation made of recycled paper, leakage detection of the compressed air system, cistern water for toilet flushing, 48 percent of self-generated electricity, recycled plastics instead of concrete, unsealed courtyard areas, an all-year share of cycle traffic above 70 percent and much more measures, the Zedler-Group were able to prove their consistent eco-friendliness to the top-class jury in the category “Trade and Services“ with the biggest number of nominees.
As usual in these times, Minister Franz Untersteller awarded the Business Award for the Environment 2020 Baden-Wuerttemberg in a live connection via video.
“My team and I are absolutely happy to receive this prestigious award and especially recognition in our issues of the heart, i.e. sustainability and climate protection”, company founder and principal Dirk Zedler explains. A few months ago, Zedler-Institut as a small company in the cycle industry have already been able to prove in the course of certification by the German Sustainable Building Council that climate-positive commercial buildings are just as possible as climate-neutral business operations (i.e. without certificate trading).
