All about bicycles, electric-assisted bikes, technology and safety in the press

The most common safety risks that we come across in our daily work around bicycle safety, technology and operating instructions are also published by us in articles in the leading German special-interest magazines TOUR (Europe's road bike magazine no. 1), BIKE (Europe's mountain bike magazine no. 1), MYBIKE and EMTB in order to make this information, which is important for the industry, available to a wider public.

For many years now, the Eurobike Show Daily, trade fair magazine of the annual Eurobike Show, has also given us the opportunity to publish our view of major developments in the cycle industry in full-page articles.

We also speak regularly in independent expert presentations about all areas of bicycle technology and the bicycle market. In addition, we are quoted by further special-interest magazines of the industry and the trade as well as increasingly by radio and television in their media reports, which shows us that we are spot on with our advice. The section "News" informs you about the latest news from our specialist areas. The reports and publications of this section are listed chronologically or according to areas of interest.

Zedler-Group wins Grand Prix of Small and Medium Business

Recognition for a longstanding partner of MYBIKE magazine: The 'Grand Prix of Small and Medium Business' was presented to the Zedler-Group.

The award was presented to Zedler-Group for an innovative business model and the operations management of strongly increasing the owner’s capital share during an enormous growth while binding the employees for many years at the same time. “This award is a great gift for our 25th company anniversary and confirms once again our performance. At the same time it is a motivation to present us with innovative ideas and entrepreneurial spirit in the industry and to continuously enhance our business fields,” declared Dirk Zedler on the occasion of the prize ceremony in Wuerzburg.

Under the motto “Shaping the Future” the Awards Gala of the Oskar-Patzelt-Foundation took place on the occasion of the 24th competition for the German federal states Baden-Wuerttemberg, Hesse, Bavaria and Thuringia. In the evening hours, the executive board members of the foundation, Dr. Helfried Schmidt and Petra Troeger, presented the prestigious statue to 14 companies which had prevailed over more than 2,400 competitors. All in all 4,917 small and medium-sized companies as well as banks and local communities had been nominated for the competition nationwide.

“Zedler-Institut is possibly the smallest major corporation in the world and has shown a double-digit growth for many years in succession”, Gunther Jahnke of Jahnke & Hofmann Partnerschaft Steuerberatungsgesellschaft justifies the nomination. And further: “It is not only the economic success that characterises the Zedler-Group, it is also their commitment to social and sustainable issues - on a local level as well as worldwide. In addition to an educational partnership with three schools in the vicinity, the group has also been donating bicycles for Africa for years.”

For the Delius-Klasing cycle magazines TOUR, BIKE, MYBIKE and E-MTB Dirk Zedler has been an important partner in the test & technology department. Together with Robert Kühnen he developed the first test stands for bicycle tests at TOUR in 1995. To date the greater majority of the test stands in the Munic test lab of the editorial offices of Delius Klasing originates from the cooperation with Dirk Zedler, founder and managing director of the Zedler-Group.
