"Since 1993 my name has been standing for the highest competence level in expert activity for bicycles. Thousands of expert reports for courts, insurance companies, legal and natural persons have contributed to profound clarification of failure cases, the settlement of liability losses, burglary damage and theft; not only in Germany, but also well beyond the borders. I was publicly appointed and sworn in as bicycle expert by the CCI in 1994 already. Hardly 20 years later my appointment was extended after re-examination to the field of electric bicycles (e-bikes or pedelecs). To many people I am also known as expert on the television or as author of specialist books," explains Zedler.
The only thing that would change with the above-mentioned founding were the company’s legal form and the name: "Other things like laboratory and office equipment, access to the archives which according to expert opinion is one of the most extensive ones as well as the renown form of expert reports remain unchanged." Company founder Dirk Zedler is active within the company, as before. In his position as managing director his year-long experience will be fully at the experts’ disposal.
According to Zedler, "GDFS prepare all kinds of bicycle reports for insurers, lawyers, manufacturers and retailers as well as for private accident victims and claimants. In his function as loss adjustor an expert draws up comprehensive expert reports for bicycles, pedelecs and components involved in accidents or subject to burglary or technical failure."
