All about bicycles, electric-assisted bikes, technology and safety in the press

The most common safety risks that we come across in our daily work around bicycle safety, technology and operating instructions are also published by us in articles in the leading German special-interest magazines TOUR (Europe's road bike magazine no. 1), BIKE (Europe's mountain bike magazine no. 1), MYBIKE and EMTB in order to make this information, which is important for the industry, available to a wider public.

For many years now, the Eurobike Show Daily, trade fair magazine of the annual Eurobike Show, has also given us the opportunity to publish our view of major developments in the cycle industry in full-page articles.

We also speak regularly in independent expert presentations about all areas of bicycle technology and the bicycle market. In addition, we are quoted by further special-interest magazines of the industry and the trade as well as increasingly by radio and television in their media reports, which shows us that we are spot on with our advice. The section "News" informs you about the latest news from our specialist areas. The reports and publications of this section are listed chronologically or according to areas of interest.

SWR-Marktcheck: Test winner VSF All-ride-workshop dealer E-Box

The German bicycle association Verbund Service und Fahrrad (VSF) is pleased about the award of a specialist retailer member: After the reporters of the South-West Broadcasting Corporation (SWR) had checked the quality of bicycle workshops in their TV programme “Marktcheck” on May 25, there was only one top result: only the workshop of the VSF bicycle dealer “E Box” from Künzelsau could convince.

The SWR reporters presented e-bikes with various defects to different bicycle repair shops for repair and documented their experience with a hidden camera. Beforehand, all bicycles were checked for relevant weak points by bicycle expert Dirk Zedler and his team. In addition to the correct identification of these defects, the investigation focused in particular on the quality of the acceptance of the bicycle to be repaired as well as on a comprehensible and reliable cost calculation for the customer:

There was only one workshop that could convince in the SWR test: The VSF All-ride-certified e-bike dealer E-Box from Künzelsau. In this regard, a proud E-Box manager Patrick Natzeder (...): “We are happy about the positive feedback on the quality of our workshop. It is 100 per cent in line with the VSF-All-ride workshop concept. The workflows help us to ensure a consistently high quality and the best possible (price) transparency. From my point of view, the acceptance of repairs together with the customer(s) has proven itself in practice. As a result, this means significantly less time expenditure in the follow-up. This makes us and also our customers happy".

Ingo Witte, responsible for All-ride workshop certifications at VSF, congratulates E Box on the positive SWR Marktcheck result: “We are very pleased with our member E Box that they were able to convince throughout the entire test. Here we really do live the quality for the customer we strive for and train within the VSF All-ride workshop concept. We cordially invite every bicycle dealer to inform themselves about our workshop concept, to receive training and, of course, to be certified.”
