All about bicycles, electric-assisted bikes, technology and safety in the press

The most common safety risks that we come across in our daily work around bicycle safety, technology and operating instructions are also published by us in articles in the leading German special-interest magazines TOUR (Europe's road bike magazine no. 1), BIKE (Europe's mountain bike magazine no. 1), MYBIKE and EMTB in order to make this information, which is important for the industry, available to a wider public.

For many years now, the Eurobike Show Daily, trade fair magazine of the annual Eurobike Show, has also given us the opportunity to publish our view of major developments in the cycle industry in full-page articles.

We also speak regularly in independent expert presentations about all areas of bicycle technology and the bicycle market. In addition, we are quoted by further special-interest magazines of the industry and the trade as well as increasingly by radio and television in their media reports, which shows us that we are spot on with our advice. The section "News" informs you about the latest news from our specialist areas. The reports and publications of this section are listed chronologically or according to areas of interest.

Zedler-Group presents second Sustainability Report

Come what may come - even the Corona pandemic cannot stop the consistent continuation of Zedler – Institut für Fahrradtechnik und -Sicherheit GmbH in terms of optimisation and transparency in climate protection, resource conservation and social commitment: in the Sustainability Report 2020/2021, which has just been completed, the team of bicycle experts around company founder and managing director Dirk Zedler documents “the entire CSR commitment and, in particular, how overall climate-neutral business operations can already be achieved today”.

Fresh from the press: Zedler-Group Sustainability Report 2020/2021

“Our target is not only to make bicycles and electric‐assisted bikes more user-friendly, more endurable and thus safer, but also to operate a business that takes as little from nature as possible”, states Dirk Zedler when presenting the second Sustainability Report.

On the basis of measured values the company analyses and documents for example how resource-saving in their company-internal processes and as a result how CO2‐neutral they have already been working in the past years. They herewith offer transparency in terms of energy-efficiency, commitment for their employees, in the social field etc.- in short: corporate social responsibility (CSR).

According to their own statements, Zedler-Group have de facto reached the finish line: With a climate-positive building including “platinum” certification (the highest possible certification awarded by DGNB e.V.), and all in all climate-neutral business operations all medium- to long-term goals postulated by politics and industry have already been achieved.
The second issue of Zedler-Group’s Sustainability Report is the consistent continuation of checking, improving and making transparent the company’s concepts and their implementation within the company. It remains the target of the prize winner of Baden-Wuerttemberg’s Business Award for the Environment 2020 to maintain and constantly optimise the high standards they have set for themselves.
