In this workshop the juniors get to know further companies with sustainable management from their region. There, they will delve into the topics sustainability and management for the common good in the context of the respective company with examples from practice and reference to reality. Using case studies and in small working groups, the classic tension between profit maximization and self-determination versus ecological and sustainable demands will be presented and discussed.
This year, we are particularly looking forward to the company visits, as it is the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic that they will take place fully in presence. This means: Insights into the production halls and laboratories, personal exchange, trying out things, tinkering and joint workshops with juniors from different schools!
This year, the juniors will visit Zedler – Institut für Fahrradtechnik und -Sicherheit in Ludwigsburg, GREEN LEMONADE STUDIO in Stuttgart and WASNI – Die Hoodie-Manufaktur in Esslingen on Neckar. With these companies we have a varied mixture of producing companies and service providers in the field of content creation and commercial videos. What is more: all 3 companies are focussed on different pillars of sustainability and herewith add the items ecology, mobility, sustainable production and inclusion on the agenda.
The company visits will take place at the end of April and beginning of May. This will provide the juniors and their companies with more fresh inspiration and promote motivation on the last metres of the project.
