All about bicycles, electric-assisted bikes, technology and safety in the press

The most common safety risks that we come across in our daily work around bicycle safety, technology and operating instructions are also published by us in articles in the leading German special-interest magazines TOUR (Europe's road bike magazine no. 1), BIKE (Europe's mountain bike magazine no. 1), MYBIKE and EMTB in order to make this information, which is important for the industry, available to a wider public.

For many years now, the Eurobike Show Daily, trade fair magazine of the annual Eurobike Show, has also given us the opportunity to publish our view of major developments in the cycle industry in full-page articles.

We also speak regularly in independent expert presentations about all areas of bicycle technology and the bicycle market. VSF..ETHIKPREIS VERLIEHEN

lm Rahmen des vivavelo Kongresses wurde am 16. April in Berlin der VSF..Ethikpreis verliehen.

Bei der Preisverleihung in Berlin: Dirk Zedler (l.) und Albert Herresthal

Die Auszeichnung entgegennehmen durfte dieses Mal das Zedler-lnstitut für seinen richtungsweisenden, ökologisch bis ins Letzte durchdachten Neubau der Firmenzentrale im schwäbischen Ludwigsburg. „Das Gebäude ist ein beeindruckendes Statement der Energie- und Verkehrswende und zeigt beispielhaft auf, wie Firmen ihren Beitrag für umweltbewusstes und nachhaltiges Leben und Arbeiten leisten können", sagt Albert Herresthal, Geschäftsführer des VSF e. V., in seiner Laudatio. Das Energieeffizienzhaus mit großzügiger Photovoltaikanlage auf dem Dach umfasst neben den modernen Büroräumen auch ein Fahrradmuseum und zwei Fahrradparkhäuser mit 42 Stellplätzen inklusive Lademöglichkeiten für Pedelecs. „Dirk Zedler hat hier umweltverträgliches Bauen mit beeindruckender Konsequenz umgesetzt. Es ist das i-Tüpfelchen auf dem ohnehin beeindruckenden Engagement Zedlers für das Fahrrad."
