In our daily work as we deal with bicycle safety, technology and user manuals we come across lots of safety risks. The most frequent ones are published in articles of the leading German special-interest magazines TOUR – Europas Rennrad-Magazin Nr. 1, BIKE – Das Mountainbike Magazin Europas Nr. 1 and E-Bike – Das Pedelec-Magazin to make this information important for the sector accessible to a wider public.
For many years now the Eurobike Show Daily accompanying the annual international Eurobike Show has given us the opportunity to publish our perspective on major developments in the cycle industry in full-page articles.
We also speak regularly in independent lectures about all topics relating to bicycle technology and bicycle market. In addition, we are regularly cited by further special-interest magazines or trade journals as well as more and more by radio and television and in their media reports, which shows us that we are completely right with our information. The section NEWS informs you about the latest news from our specialist fields. The reports and publications of this section are listed chronologically or according to topics of interest.
There will be an exchange of information and discussions between renowned speakers from the bicycle branch about the topics riding characteristics, riding safety, construction and manufacturing technology as well as optics and design. The event will be supported by the German magazines TOUR and BIKE. For visitors who register until May 18, 2011 for the event there will be a 20% early booking discount. The entry to Bike Expo is free for all participants.
The opening speech of the 2nd International bicycle developer conference will be made by TOUR editor Jens Kloetzer and is titled "Experiencing and evaluating riding dynamics characteristics of bicycles". Since 2008 the studied engineer is in charge of the testing and technology department at the road bike magazine TOUR. He will be followed by Christoph Listmann, long-standing editor of the mountain bike magazine BIKE and successful MTB racer, with his lecture "These are the testing methods of BIKE – comparative tests in the laboratory and in practice".
Further speakers are among others Jo Klieber (Syntace), Dan Lorang (LMT-Leuenberger Medizin Technik AG) and Dirk Zedler (Institut für Fahrradtechnik und -Sicherheit GmbH).
The conference will end with a final discussion moderated by Matthias Bluemel (Veloinnovation GmbH). Following the conference, there will be the opportunity for participants and speakers to come together and bring the day to a harmonious end in a comfortable atmosphere.
