All about bicycles, electric-assisted bikes, technology and safety in the press

The most common safety risks that we come across in our daily work around bicycle safety, technology and operating instructions are also published by us in articles in the leading German special-interest magazines TOUR (Europe's road bike magazine no. 1), BIKE (Europe's mountain bike magazine no. 1), MYBIKE and EMTB in order to make this information, which is important for the industry, available to a wider public.

For many years now, the Eurobike Show Daily, trade fair magazine of the annual Eurobike Show, has also given us the opportunity to publish our view of major developments in the cycle industry in full-page articles.

We also speak regularly in independent expert presentations about all areas of bicycle technology and the bicycle market. In addition, we are quoted by further special-interest magazines of the industry and the trade as well as increasingly by radio and television in their media reports, which shows us that we are spot on with our advice. The section "News" informs you about the latest news from our specialist areas. The reports and publications of this section are listed chronologically or according to areas of interest.

Money per kilometre in a different way: Zedler-institute donates 21 bicycles to World Bicycle Relief

Team members and business partners of the Ludwigsburg company collected kilometres on the occasion of two local cycle tours and the management offset the kilometres by a donation for the kilometres actually cycled. The distances varied from 50 to 180 kilometres. The team summed up altogether more than 7,400 kilometres and thus the equivalent of 21 solid Buffalo-bicycles for Africa. Due to this donation the Zedler-institute welcomed a high-ranking visit at their company head office in Ludwigsburg.

Kristina Jasiunaite, managing director of World Bicycle Relief (WBR) Germany, insisted in giving thanks personally. During her visit at Zedler – Institut für Fahrradtechnik und -Sicherheit GmbH she showed her deep appreciation for the commitment of the team members and was impressed by the positioning of the company in the various fields of business.

After having already delivered two specifically assembled bicycles to the German Red Cross in Ludwigsburg in the previous year, the Zedler-institute as service company shows further social commitment in terms of safety and customer satisfaction in the cycle industry.

Managing director Dirk Zedler declares: "Bicycles are a major source of income in Africa. After having sent there a number of second-hand bicycles directly in the past years, we are glad that this year our donation allows further Africans to manage their lives a little better by the joint use of the bicycles."
