The most common safety risks that we come across in our daily work around bicycle safety, technology and operating instructions are also published by us in articles in the leading German special-interest magazines TOUR (Europe's road bike magazine no. 1), BIKE (Europe's mountain bike magazine no. 1), MYBIKE and EMTB in order to make this information, which is important for the industry, available to a wider public.

For many years now, the Eurobike Show Daily, trade fair magazine of the annual Eurobike Show, has also given us the opportunity to publish our view of major developments in the cycle industry in full-page articles.

Die ganze Welt des Fahrrads

Sachsenheim/Ludwigsburg. Neuntklässler der Junior-Ingenieur-Akademie „Antrieb und Bewegung" des Sachsenheimer·Lichtenstern-Gymnasiums haben im Zusammenhang mit einem Projekt rund um das Thema 200 Jahre Fahrrad das Ludwigsburger Institut für Fahrradtechnik und -Sicherheit von Dirk Zedler besucht.

Fasziniert vom Fahrrad widmete sich Dirk Zedler nach dem Maschinenbaustudium und ersten Tätigkeiten in der Zweiradbranche der technischen Sicherheit von Fahrrädern, entwickelte 1993 seinen ersten Prüfstand und ist seit dieser Zeit als Fahrrad-Sachverständiger tätig, heißt es in einer Mitteilung. Neben den Geschäftsfeldern Gutachten und Prüftechnik beschäftigt sich Zedler mit der Erstellung von Bedienungsanleitungen und betreibt als Ergebnis ungezählter Unfallanalysen einen kritischen Fahrradtechnik-Journalismus. Im Institut arbeiten Maschinenbauingenieure, Fahrradmonteure, Industriemechaniker, Fachjournalisten, Grafiker und Übersetzer zusammen. Der E-Bike-Boom hat eine neue Dynamik in den Markt gebracht, weshalb Zedler auch spezielle Prüfverfahren für Pedelecs anbietet.
