All about bicycles, electric-assisted bikes, technology and safety in the press

The most common safety risks that we come across in our daily work around bicycle safety, technology and operating instructions are also published by us in articles in the leading German special-interest magazines TOUR (Europe's road bike magazine no. 1), BIKE (Europe's mountain bike magazine no. 1), MYBIKE and EMTB in order to make this information, which is important for the industry, available to a wider public.

For many years now, the Eurobike Show Daily, trade fair magazine of the annual Eurobike Show, has also given us the opportunity to publish our view of major developments in the cycle industry in full-page articles.

We also speak regularly in independent expert presentations about all areas of bicycle technology and the bicycle market. In addition, we are quoted by further special-interest magazines of the industry and the trade as well as increasingly by radio and television in their media reports, which shows us that we are spot on with our advice. The section "News" informs you about the latest news from our specialist areas. The reports and publications of this section are listed chronologically or according to areas of interest.

EUROBIKE AWARD 2011: Anmeldefrist läuft

Fahrradhändler in der Jury

Die Eurobike 2011 wirft bereits ihre Schatten voraus und mit ihr auch der Eurobike Award, der bereits zum siebten Mal verliehen wird. Ab sofort ist die internationale Fahrradbranche aufgefordert, sich online um die begehrten Auszeichnungen zu bewerben. In der Jury für den Wettbewerb befindet sich in diesem Jahr übrigens auch ein Fahrradhändler.
Bis zum 25. Juli können Hersteller, Designer und Ingenieure ihre innovativen Produkte online (www.ifdesign.de) ins Rennen schicken. Zum vierten Mal wird zudem der Sonderpreis Eurobike Green Award an ein Produkt mit einem besonders hohen ökologischen und nachhaltigen Wert vergeben.

Die Expertenjury setzt sich in diesem Jahr wie folgt zusammen: Nils Holger Moormann (Designer, Aschau am Chiemsee), Hans-Heinrich Pardey (Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Frankfurt am Main), Jack Oortwijn (Bike Europe & Tweewieler, Amsterdam/Niederlande), Ulrike Saade (Velokonzept Saade GmbH, Berlin), Peter Feld (Fahrrad XXL Feld GmbH, Sankt Augustin) und Dirk Zedler (Institut für Fahrradtechnik und -Sicherheit GmbH, Ludwigsburg).

Die Preisverleihung findet zur EUROBIKE in Friedrichshafen am 31. August um 18.00 Uhr auf der Modenschau-Bühne im Foyer-Ost statt. Alle ausgezeichneten Produkte werden während der Messe vom 31. August bis 3. September 2011 im Foyer West präsentiert.
