All about bicycles, electric-assisted bikes, technology and safety in the press

The most common safety risks that we come across in our daily work around bicycle safety, technology and operating instructions are also published by us in articles in the leading German special-interest magazines TOUR (Europe's road bike magazine no. 1), BIKE (Europe's mountain bike magazine no. 1), MYBIKE and EMTB in order to make this information, which is important for the industry, available to a wider public.

For many years now, the Eurobike Show Daily, trade fair magazine of the annual Eurobike Show, has also given us the opportunity to publish our view of major developments in the cycle industry in full-page articles.

We also speak regularly in independent expert presentations about all areas of bicycle technology and the bicycle market. In addition, we are quoted by further special-interest magazines of the industry and the trade as well as increasingly by radio and television in their media reports, which shows us that we are spot on with our advice. The section "News" informs you about the latest news from our specialist areas. The reports and publications of this section are listed chronologically or according to areas of interest.

Half light, half shadow in the cycle industry

We talk to Dirk Zedler about the situation in the cycle industry, to Christiane about disc brakes in winter and to Willi about the mountain classification at the Deutschland Tour in Oberweissbach.

The German “Antritt” (Acceleration) podcast of the German podcast radio “detektor.fm” is about bicycles in all their facets and, of course, about bicycle people.

No matter whether sports equipment or fun machine, means of transport or motorhome: Our podcast covers a broad range and makes audible as diverse a range of voices from the world of cycling as possible. We look at the big issues and the small moments from various angles and have chain oil in our blood, as it should be.

These are the topics we are dealing with in the second October issue 2022:

Dirk Zedler about the situation in the cycle industry

After lockdowns, tearing supply chains and peaks of demand, the cycle industry is also facing new challenges: Increased energy costs and inflation make the available budget in many households shrink significantly. What does all this do to the cycle industry and what issues will it have to face in the coming years? We talk to Dirk Zedler of Institut für Fahrradtechnik und -Sicherheit in Ludwigsburg about it.
