All about bicycles, electric-assisted bikes, technology and safety in the press

The most common safety risks that we come across in our daily work around bicycle safety, technology and operating instructions are also published by us in articles in the leading German special-interest magazines TOUR (Europe's road bike magazine no. 1), BIKE (Europe's mountain bike magazine no. 1), MYBIKE and EMTB in order to make this information, which is important for the industry, available to a wider public.

For many years now, the Eurobike Show Daily, trade fair magazine of the annual Eurobike Show, has also given us the opportunity to publish our view of major developments in the cycle industry in full-page articles.

We also speak regularly in independent expert presentations about all areas of bicycle technology and the bicycle market. In addition, we are quoted by further special-interest magazines of the industry and the trade as well as increasingly by radio and television in their media reports, which shows us that we are spot on with our advice. The section "News" informs you about the latest news from our specialist areas. The reports and publications of this section are listed chronologically or according to areas of interest.

Dura-Ace Di2 in 20,000-km endurance test

It runs and runs

Once through the complete test laboratory, twice the TOUR-Transalp, six different frames and about 20,000 kilometres of running performance – these are the reference values of our Dura-Ace-Di2 endurance test group. Since the beginning of 2009 the pre-series model has enriched completely conspicuously the test fleet of TOUR. Unconspicuously, as the group always sets the benchmark in terms of shifting precision from the first to the current gear shifts, as it never stops, can be easily assembled, disassembled and adjusted. Even the rechargeable battery is still so fresh that you don’t have to fear a cutting of power, not even during an about 900-km-long race, such as the Transalp. Even when the battery stops the supply, which may be the case after 2,000 kilometres without recharging, the front derailleur no longer works, but there are still about 70 kilometres left, where the rear derailleur is working still properly when cycling to the charger. The only flaw to the externally still almost irreproachable group concerns the front derailleur, where chromium has chipped off the external aluminium guide plate on the bottom edge.
