workshops at companies that are involved in this project.
For years now, the Zedler-Group has been a partner of the “Environmental Pros of Tomorrow” and has given the juniors an insight into the work and commitment of the company group. After the event had to be held online in previous years due to the pandemic, the interested students were happy to be able to come in person again this year.
The workshop started with the presentation of the sustainability and climate-protection concept of the company group by founder and managing director Dirk Zedler. After that the juniors had the opportunity to ask the questions they had prepared. These were general questions, such as “What is in your opinion the role of the bicycle in future mobility and what part does Zedler play in it?” or “What sets the Zedler-Group apart from others in the field of sustainability in its industry?” as well as concrete ones, such as “How much CO2 do you emit?” or "How long does it take you to develop a product?”.
In an active exchange, the future environmental pros not only got the answers to their questions, but also took home thought-provoking facts, e.g. on the fuel consumption of a car just for finding a parking space.
