Lorenzo Schmelzer joined the testing technology team of Zedler-Institut in December 2022. His master thesis “Development of a bicycle brake lever made of plastic with inlaid thermoplastic prepreg”, which he submitted to Augsburg Technical University of Applied Sciences, and his cycle tour to the North Cape and back manifest his affinity for bicycles. As part of the Zedler team, Lorenzo, who is also a trained precision mechanic specialising in machining technology, is involved in the design of testing systems and accessories and, if required, in the execution of testing orders.
