All about bicycles, electric-assisted bikes, technology and safety in the press

The most common safety risks that we come across in our daily work around bicycle safety, technology and operating instructions are also published by us in articles in the leading German special-interest magazines TOUR (Europe's road bike magazine no. 1), BIKE (Europe's mountain bike magazine no. 1), MYBIKE and EMTB in order to make this information, which is important for the industry, available to a wider public.

For many years now, the Eurobike Show Daily, trade fair magazine of the annual Eurobike Show, has also given us the opportunity to publish our view of major developments in the cycle industry in full-page articles.

We also speak regularly in independent expert presentations about all areas of bicycle technology and the bicycle market. In addition, we are quoted by further special-interest magazines of the industry and the trade as well as increasingly by radio and television in their media reports, which shows us that we are spot on with our advice. The section "News" informs you about the latest news from our specialist areas. The reports and publications of this section are listed chronologically or according to areas of interest.

Zedler-Institut celebrates 30th company anniversary

On April 1st, three decades after its founding, Zedler-Institut in Ludwigsburg invites visitors to an Open House Day and, in addition, provides forbidden insights.

30 years Zedler-Institut are celebrated with an Open House Day

In the early 1990s, after an apprenticeship as a craftsman, a degree in mechanical engineering, experience in the bicycle trade and many cycling and triathlon events under his belt, Dirk Zedler, founder and managing director of the Zedler-Group companies, set up his own business as a bicycle expert. At the CCI, the business idea was commented on with the sentence: “Who needs that?“

Today, 30 years later, Dirk Zedler is content: “The Zedler‐Group has not only made a name for itself with courts and insurers, but also developed into a hidden champion of the global cycle industry with other highly specialised business fields.“

Open House Day

On April 1st, 2023, the company celebrates its company anniversary with an Open House Day. Then, the company building will be open to all interested parties inside and outside the industry. In the museum, the development of the bicycle can be experienced at first hand and a unique collection worth seeing from the last 200 years can be viewed. In house tours, the experts, test engineers and technical documentation experts will accompany the registered visitors for one hour through the rooms, which are typically not open to the public for reasons of confidentiality towards the company's business partners. Registrations via the company website.
