2023

“Platinum” recertification of the company building by DGNB e.V. as a climate-positive building in use.

2022

Zedler-Institut awarded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection and the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce as new member of the Association of German Companies for Climate Protection (“Klimaschutz-Unternehmen e.V.”) for quick and innovative measures to increase energy efficiency as well as investments in renewable energies, in digitalisation and in the use of green hydrogen. Creative projects of employee motivation in the field of energy and resource efficiency were also honoured with this award.

2020	Award winner ”Business Award for the Environment 2020” Baden-Wuerttemberg in the category retail and services. During the award ceremony Baden-Wuerttemberg's Minister of the Environment Franz Untersteller honoured the energy-efficient building with Platinum Certification as well as the environment-oriented corporate management.
2020	Certification of the company headquarters according to the "buildings in use" system with the highest award level "Platinum" and top marks therein by the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB). Additionally, the exemplary company building has been awarded the "Climate Positive" status. This combination of both awards can be found only twice worldwide at the time of the award ceremony
2019 to 2023	Next step in the ”Grand Prix of Small and Medium Business” competition: appearance on the nationwide jury list from which the finalists for the premier are selected
2019	CITY CYCLING-CAMPAIGN – Awarded by the City of Ludwigsburg
2019	Signature of Baden-Wuerttemberg's WIN-Charter certificate by managing director Dirk Zedler and preparation of the WIN-Charter target concept
2018	Award winner ”Großer Preis des Mittelstandes” (Grand Prix of Small and Medium Business) for an innovative business model and the operations management of strongly increasing the owner's capital share during an enormous growth by binding the employees for many years at the same time. The award was presented by the Oskar-Patzelt-Foundation under the patronage of Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut Member of the Landtag, Minister of Economic Affairs, Labour and Housing of the State of Baden-Wuerttemberg

2018	Awarded with VSF..Ethikpreis for the trend-setting, ecologically well thought-out, new building of the headquarters in Swabian Ludwigsburg, presented by VSF Managing Director Albert Herresthal during the vivavelo conference 2018

The term "Institut" as part of the company name is a protected term which requires certain characteristics. The fact that a GmbH (limited company) may use the term as part of its name even though it neither has got university character nor is a state institution is due to the significant amount of research and development work we conduct as well as personal initiative.
