All about bicycles, electric-assisted bikes, technology and safety in the press

In our daily work as we deal with bicycle safety, technology and user manuals we come across lots of safety risks. The most frequent ones are published in articles of the leading German special-interest magazines TOUR – Europas Rennrad-Magazin Nr. 1, BIKE – Das Mountainbike Magazin Europas Nr. 1 and E-Bike – Das Pedelec-Magazin to make this information important for the sector accessible to a wider public.

For many years now the Eurobike Show Daily accompanying the annual international Eurobike Show has given us the opportunity to publish our perspective on major developments in the cycle industry in full-page articles.

We also speak regularly in independent lectures about all topics relating to bicycle technology and bicycle market. In addition, we are regularly cited by further special-interest magazines or trade journals as well as more and more by radio and television and in their media reports, which shows us that we are completely right with our information. The section NEWS informs you about the latest news from our specialist fields. The reports and publications of this section are listed chronologically or according to topics of interest.

Focus on the workshop: Conference of the VSF-all-ride workshops

“Up to the next quality level” that's what the workshop conference 2023 of the certified VSF..all-ride companies was all about. The two venues of the conference also stood for the highest standard – the test institut Zedler in Ludwigsburg and Paul Lange & Co in Stuttgart. Many thanks to our hosts Dirk Zedler and Bernhard Lange!

The most important facts very briefly:

More and more VSF companies are strengthening the all-ride network and contributing their know-how. Current counter reading: 60 certified workshops.
The VSF..all-ride workshop concept continues to be the benchmark in the industry. Nevertheless, there are numerous ideas and starting points for further development in 2023.
.all-ride workshop and Shimano Service Center have numerous points of contact. Talks about cooperation and a close coordination of the concepts are ongoing.

In 2023, the focus is on the following topics:

o bicycle washing system: experience, requirements, calculation, practical experience, product recommendation

Package deals in the workshop: pricing, operational consequences, customer acceptance

o Online appointment: simple booking process for the customer; link to packages

o The new VSF workbench: feedback from practice and suggestions for improvement
