All about bicycles, electric-assisted bikes, technology and safety in the press

The most common safety risks that we come across in our daily work around bicycle safety, technology and operating instructions are also published by us in articles in the leading German special-interest magazines TOUR (Europe's road bike magazine no. 1), BIKE (Europe's mountain bike magazine no. 1), MYBIKE and EMTB in order to make this information, which is important for the industry, available to a wider public.

For many years now, the Eurobike Show Daily, trade fair magazine of the annual Eurobike Show, has also given us the opportunity to publish our view of major developments in the cycle industry in full-page articles.

We also speak regularly in independent expert presentations about all areas of bicycle technology and the bicycle market. In addition, we are quoted by further special-interest magazines of the industry and the trade as well as increasingly by radio and television in their media reports, which shows us that we are spot on with our advice. The section "News" informs you about the latest news from our specialist areas. The reports and publications of this section are listed chronologically or according to areas of interest.

Successful cooperation: In Sachsenheim, and not only there, people cycled for a good cause. And this pays off for "World Bicycle Relief" (WBR).

Ludwigsburg/Sachsenheim. 10th grade pupils of Lichtenstern-Gymnasium are to learn how to organise events. And that’s what they did on the occasion of the Sachsenheim "Lichtenstern-Tour" (see BZ report). An initiative supported by the Ludwigsburg company Zedler – Institut für Fahrradtechnik und -Sicherheit GmbH with a group of all in all 65 team members, business partners, relatives and friends, according to their own statement. The company used this cycle event as well as the Ludwigsburg baroque city cycle tour to donate 30 Cent per kilometre cycled to the relief organisation "World Bicycle Relief" that brings specifically built bicycles assembled on the spot to Africa to provide people there with more mobility.

According to WBR managing director Kristina Jasiunaite this made all in all 21 bicycles and she insisted in coming to Ludwigsburg to express her thanks personally to the Zedler team. This was not the only award for the kilometre collectors: During the baroque city cycle tour of the local cycle association RSC-Komet they also received the cup for the largest group.

On the basis of a wealth of experience including more than 20 years of activity as bicycle experts the Zedler company located in Ludwigsburg has been developing user manuals for bicycles of any type and bicycle components in meanwhile more than 30 languages for almost 20 years. In another field of business the engineers develop and build testing systems for measurement.
