“DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 is the worldwide standard for laboratory accreditation in the area of testing and calibration. It sets out general requirements for competence and impartiality and for uniform working practices at laboratories and is applicable to all organisations that carry out laboratory activities. It was developed with the aim of promoting confidence in the work of laboratories,” states Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle DAkkS on their website.
The particular thing with “our” accreditation is that the scope not only comprises the normative tests, but also the tests of our categories SAFETY and PERFORMANCE – manifested in a 7-page long annex to the certificate.
The accreditation documents with an up-to-date list of all test procedures in the field of bicycles and electrically power assisted cycles are available in the download area of our webshop.
