in Zedler-Institut’s seminar area on the training organisation and the “framework programme” of the triathlete.

He also gave an insight into the highs and lows of his impressive professional career and described the challenges that a competition, such as the Ironman in Hawaii, brings for the athlete and his team.

In conversation with one of the sports physicians present, Kienle also referred to the previous speeches, such as that of Dirk Zedler entitled: “What is technically possible to make a bike faster’” The world champion’s conclusion: “The race is won in the mind.”

Zedler Institut has supported the training events of Ludwigsburg's Sports Medical Working Group for many years with its premises and manpower. By inviting Sebastian Kienle, Zedler Institut has welcomed another outstanding athlete. He joins a long list of exceptional athletes, such as the successful cyclists Elisabeth Brandau and Lisa Brennauer, Germany's fastest marathon runner Arne Gabius and the ultra-athlete Jonas Deichmann last year.

With the “Basic” training course, claims can be recognised reliably and assessed appropriately.
Participants from the cycle industry will learn how to prepare cost estimates correctly and how to draw up sound expert reports.
Participants from the motor vehicle expert sector and field loss adjusters of insurers acquire the necessary tools for an initial loss assessment of bicycles and e-bikes.

The “Advanced” training course  provides the toolset that is necessary to also make complex loss assessments of bicycles with carbon components and e-bikes. In the field of e-bikes, the participants will have gained e.g. an overview of relevant systems on the market and the diagnostic options of the individual components from different manufacturers, after the training.

The “Product safety and liability, CE marking” workshop provides essential background knowledge and practice-approved methods for placing bicycles, e-bikes, e-MTBs and e-cargo bikes on the market.
