All about bicycles, electric-assisted bikes, technology and safety in the press

The most common safety risks that we come across in our daily work around bicycle safety, technology and operating instructions are also published by us in articles in the leading German special-interest magazines TOUR (Europe's road bike magazine no. 1), BIKE (Europe's mountain bike magazine no. 1), MYBIKE and EMTB in order to make this information, which is important for the industry, available to a wider public.

For many years now, the Eurobike Show Daily, trade fair magazine of the annual Eurobike Show, has also given us the opportunity to publish our view of major developments in the cycle industry in full-page articles.

We also speak regularly in independent expert presentations about all areas of bicycle technology and the bicycle market. In addition, we are quoted by further special-interest magazines of the industry and the trade as well as increasingly by radio and television in their media reports, which shows us that we are spot on with our advice. The section "News" informs you about the latest news from our specialist areas. The reports and publications of this section are listed chronologically or according to areas of interest.

German bicycle industry association VSF invited to Workshop Conference

EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION

Every year, certified all-ride companies meet at the VSF Workshop Conference. This year, the focus was on the further development of the repair registration and new service partnerships. Another point of discussion in the new VSF conference rooms were concepts for mobile bicycle maintenance services.

Two service partnerships were concluded: In future, the currently existing 60 all-ride workshops will cooperate with the cargo bike manufacturer Via and the manufacturer and mail-order company Rose Bikes. In future, the workshops will be the first point of contact for service partners and will benefit from attractive rates.

Ingo Witte, VSF workshop expert, explained the significance of the VSF workshop conference and the core idea of the All-Ride concept: The Workshop Conference is the meeting place for all dealers who have recognised that their workshop can and should make a significant contribution to the profitability of their business. They implement principles in their workshops that inevitably lead to this result.” By implementing the all-ride concept in the bicycle workshop, it is easier for companies to meet the high demand for repair services.

Sebastian Martin of Zedler-Institut emphasised the importance of bicycle experts for the bike industry in an input and offered an insight into the further education and training courses offered by Zedler Institut.
