To kick off the new climate campaign “Lust auf [ ]”, the participants met at the Franck-Areal (in Ludwigsburg). What the city wants to achieve with the campaign and how companies, organisations and associations support it.

DIRK ZEDLER – ISO 4210: E-BIKES IGNORES, KEY ISSUES UNSOLVED

It took almost 10 years for the global bicycle standard ISO 4210, published in 2014, to be reissued. However, the high hopes that the maturing process would eliminate flagrant contradictions or shortcomings or that the e-bikes (EPAC) would be integrated were not fulfilled.

An event with Transport Minister Winfried Hermann at the Central Filmtheater cinema on Monday focussed on sustainable mobility. Hermann’s advice for the transition in transportation is to take a more relaxed view.

The cycle industry is growing, becoming more self-confident and wants a better lobby now. The German industry association Zukunft Fahrrad meets in Ludwigsburg and forges plans.
