Zedler-Institut’s CE workshops offer background knowledge and tried-and-tested tools for placing EPACs, e-MTBs and e-cargo bikes on the market. The training courses on product safety and product liability as well as CE marking at Zedler-Institut are mainly aimed at decision-makers (managing directors, CTOs) and key staff of bicycle manufacturers, e.g. in the product management, purchasing, quality assurance and service.

Make 43 out of 300: One of the tasks of the expert jury at the Eurobike Awards was to select the winners in nine categories from 300 products from 35 countries. The award ceremony will take place in Frankfurt in three weeks' time.

Zedler-Institut also offer workshops on CE marking in their training course programme. They represent meanwhile an important focus in their programme.

E-bikes are not cheap. It is therefore tempting to convert the own bike into an electric bike on your own with an inexpensive retrofit kit. Nevertheless, experts and the German Cycling Association (ADFC) advise in general against conversion.
