Increasingly powerful motors are bringing e-bikes technically closer to motor vehicles –
raising the question: At what point does an electrically assisted bicycle cease to be a bicycle?

Twenty participants deepened their expertise in the assessment of e-bikes, carbon components, and modern cargo bicycles during a two-day advanced training course held in April at the Zedler-Institut in Ludwigsburg.

Over 100,000 bicycle accidents per year – and too few experts capable of properly assessing modern e-bikes, carbon components, and EPAC systems. The result: claims settlements dragging on for years, frustrated claimants, and overwhelmed insurers. This is precisely where the Zedler-Institut in Ludwigsburg steps in – with a practice-oriented continuing education program for bicycle experts, which was once again successfully completed in mid-April.
