As reported in advance, the German Association for Materials Research and Testing (DVM) had invited together with their longstanding programme committee member Dirk Zedler to attend the DVM working group “Bicycle Safety” in the museum and seminar area in Ludwigsburg on December 3rd and 4th. There, participants from research, manufacturers and service providers engaged in an extensive and lively two-day dialogue on the topic of “Life Cycle – The Bicycle’s Product Life Cycle”.

Representatives from the fields of research, the cycle industry and service providers met for a two-day exchange in Ludwigsburg. The DVM working group “Bicycle Safety” had invited to attend Zedler-Institut.

On December 3rd and 4th, the German Association for Materials Research and Testing (DVM) invites together with their longstanding programme committee member Dirk Zedler to attend the museum and seminar area in Ludwigsburg.
The event is aimed at engineers and technicians involved in the design, development, testing and manufacture of bicycles, e-bikes and transportation bikes.

In order to protect manufacturers of bicycles, e-bikes, e-MTBs and e-transportation bikes from market and trade supervisory procedures and imminent sales bans, Zedler-Institut für Fahrradtechnik und -Sicherheit GmbH is once again holding their tried and tested (basic) workshop this autumn. The dates for the “Product safety, product liability and CE marking” workshops, which will take place at Zedler's headquarters in Ludwigsburg, have already been set for October 29th and December 17th, 2024.

In order to protect the manufacturers of bicycles, e-bikes, e-MTBs and e-transportation bikes from market or trade surveillance procedures and impending sales stops, Zedler-Institut is also holding its (basic) workshop, which has been tried and tested for many years, in autumn.
